An Easter Treat Holder

Hi!  Have you been enjoying the release over at Waffle Flower Crafts?  Today is our last day of featuring the new goodies and tomorrow everything will be available at the Waffle Flower Crafts Store!  So fun!  Today we are featuring an awesome new die- the Petal Holder Die!

There are literally hundreds of ways you can use this die!  It has a square bottom and round top with scallops.  The scallops can be creased to create so many different looks- it is so much fun!

For my sample, I paired it with the new Chunky Grass Die and Egg Hunt Stamp Set to create a little Easter treat holder.  It is perfect for pretty candies!

If you would like to see what else you can do with this, pop over to the Waffle Flower Crafts blog today to check out the other design team samples.  You can also leave a comment there for a chance to win this awesome die!

Hope you all have a great day!  Thanks for stopping by!

Lacy Flowers Card

Today has been such a lazy day! :)  It's been great!  It is my day off from school and I am all caught up on almost everything around the house.  I dressed in my comfy clothes and did a little crafting this morning.  I thought I'd pop on here before I figured out what is next!

My card today features the new Lacy Flower Stamps and Dies from Waffle Flower Crafts:

This new set and matching dies are so beautiful!  They look beautiful together and separately- here I've used them all together!  The Lacy Flower Dies are so intricate and detailed- they really stand out.  I also love the giant flower from the Lacy Flower Stamp Set- it's so pretty!  I sort of mixed and matched everything on this card.  Here is a closer look:

Everyone did an amazing job with this set for the release!  Pop over to the Waffle Flower Blog to check out a bunch of beautiful samples using these new items.  Everything should be available on the 24th!

Well, I guess I should go!  I think I'm going to try to get one more project started before the girls get home from school :)  Hope you have a great day!

Waffle Flower Challenge: Inlaid Diecutting

Good morning!  Today I am sharing a card inspired by this month's Waffle Flower Challenge!  This month we were supposed to use the inlaid diecutting technique.  It was fun!  Here is what I made:

I inlaid the cloud dies from the Partly Cloudy Die into the large circle die from the Flower Circle Die.  I also inlaid the sun middle :).  The stamps are from the Rain Check Stamp Set- I put two sentiments together to make mine say You Shine!

Pop over to the Waffle Flower Blog today to see what my challenge teammates have created!  Everyone is so creative!!

Hope you enjoy your day!

Succulents Card for Waffle Flower Crafts

Hello!  Hope you're enjoying your Sunday :)  I thought I'd pop on real quick and share a card I made for the Waffle Flower Release- this one was made using the new Succulents Stamp Set and Die:

t

I went a little mixed media with this one!  Hee Hee!  The bottom portion was made using the emboss resist technique with distress paints.  I ironed over the top so that the embossing powder would melt off and show the stamped details better.  It was fun and I love how it turned out!

The focal succulent bloom was stamped with the aqua ombre stamp pad by Hero Arts.  I diecut around it and popped it up.  I added a few sequins and some silver thread  peeking out from underneath.

The sentiment is stamped on the tag from the Surface-Tag-Starter Kit.

Hope you guys are enjoying the Waffle Flower Spring Release!  Pop over to the Waffle Flower Blog and check out the other new goodies- there is a giveaway too!

Welcome Spring Cards

Hello!

I have a couple of cards to share this morning featuring more new goodies from Waffle Flower Crafts!  This cute new critter set is called the Welcome Spring Stamp Set.  It has adorable images that can be used to build scenes on its own or with our cute monkey friends from the Willy and Friends Stamp Set.

I did some masking with the first one giving our little sheep friend a foxy hat!  It makes me giggle a little bit thinking of the old saying 'a wolf in sheep's clothing.'  This is like a sheep in fox's clothing!

I kept the scene simple, coloring it with Copic markers.

On this one, you can see how those adorable bunnies look on top of their monkey buddy's heads!  Isn't that silly fun?  Hee Hee!  I love it!  I used Copics to color this one as well and paired it with the heart from the Flutter Stamp Set and my favorite diecut from the Flower Circle Die.  The new sentiments in this set are just as cute as the stamps too!  To see more of this set and others from the new release, pop over to the Waffle Flower Blog!  There is a giveaway there too so don't forget to leave your name to win this adorable set and dies!

OK!  Hope you enjoy your weekend!  We are heading out early to sign up for softball today which means we will probably be getting the equipment out and playing a bit this afternoon!  Yay!  My girls really love this time of year and their smiles make me love it too! :)

Thanks for stopping by!

A Happy Easter Card

Hi!  It's Friday!  Yay!  My hubby and I spent the day picking up groceries and had a yummy lunch date at a new restaurant- I think we have a new favorite!  It was so good!  I am already planning to go back and try something new!

Speaking of something new, Waffle Flower Crafts is featuring more new goodies from their spring release today!  I just love the new Egg Hunt Stamp Set- it's perfect for Easter:

I stamped a little scene and colored it with Copics.  Then I added a couple of colored eggs popped up in front.  The tag is from the Stay Focused Die.  I embellished with a few sequins to add some sparkle and added it to an embossed card front.

Hope you are all enjoying Waffle Flower's release week and your Friday!!

Awesome Chevron Card

Hello friends!

Hope your day is going well!  I am currently sitting next to a window enjoying the blue skies and sunshine but I hear it won't last long- we are supposed to be getting another icky snow storm this weekend :(  Oh how I wish it were spring!

Today is fun because Waffle Flower Crafts is kicking off their awesome spring release!  This release is packed full of great stamps and dies.  I have a card featuring some of the new goodies to share!

On this card, I paired the new Chunky Chevron Die with the In Every Way Stamp Set and new matching Awesome Word Die.  I think these dies are so fun!  They are large so they fit across the long side of your card.  They also link together to make larger sizes- these would be so fun on a scrapbook page!

The Awesome Word Die is just one of many new word dies!  Many of the new ones coordinate with their most popular sets.

The new release items will be available on February 24th!

There are a ton of inspirational photos on the Waffle Flower Blog today so pop over and check it all out!  Don't forget to leave a comment for your chance to win as well!!  Yay for new releases!!

With Love Card

Hello!

Hope you are all having a good week!  I was feeling crafty this week and actually got a few cards done!  Most of them are for an upcoming release but I do have one to share! :)  This one features goodies from Waffle Flower Crafts:

I started with a crisp white card base and splattered Crumb Cake ink over one side.  Next, I added the doily cut from orange cardstock and the Doily Circle Die.  My next layers are vellum, patterned paper, and a strip of white cardstock, which I sewed together with my machine.  I adhered them over the pretty doily.  I stamped the pretty palm leaf from the Leafy Stamp Set and cut it out using the Leafy Die.  I also diecut the sentiment with the With Love Word Die.  I added the diecut pieces to finish it all off.

I love how the vellum layer looks on this!  I also love these colors together :)  I left these goodies on my desk so I could make another card with them again soon!

Well, I hope you are enjoying your day!  Thank you for stopping by!
