Pretty Bliss Pins

Hi!

Today I'm sharing some of my pretty pins... Really they're just decorated clothes pins but they were a big hit for me over the Christmas season- I sold over 50 of them at some local craft shows! I also gave a few away as gifts- they would be great for displaying cards around your stamping room or even on your refrigerator (with a magnet added to the back). I also use them as chip clips- they are so cute! :)

So, here are a few pretty clips I made for the SU! leadership display boards using the Bliss Sale-a-bration set:

Another way to display them:

Stamps: Bliss
Ink: Basic Black, Riding Hood Red, Crumb Cake
Paper: Very Vanilla, Riding Hood Red cardstock; Love Letter DSP
Accessories: Scallop Circle punch, Curly Label punch, Basic Black 1/4" grosgrain ribbon, Basic Rhinestones, Antique Brads, Silver Brads, Mini Vintage Tags, Circle punches, Silver Glass Glitter, Linen Thread

As you can see, I added a lot of little details to these guys! The ones I sold during the holidays only had the flowers on them so these were extra special. I may have to remake a set for myself!

Thanks for stopping by today!

A Valentine Card

Hello! Hope you are all getting ready for a great weekend! I'm planning a very crafty weekend... cropping with friends on Saturday and a fun class on Sunday! I can't wait!

Today's card is a quick one- and ended up being the only valentine I made this year! I hope you like it:

Stamps: what! no stamps? :)
Paper: Crumb Cake, Basic Grey, Pink Pirouette, Real Red cardstock; Playdate DSP
Accessories: Basic Rhinestones, Curly Label punch, Scallop Edge punch, Linen Thread, paper piercer, Love Impressions rub-ons

So, this card features some of Stampin' Up!s great rub-ons. They are very high quality rub-ons that work like a charm. I was able to layer them with no problems and the white stood out even on darker cardstocks. It really is hard to find good quality rub-ons and I've tried a lot... I think Stampin' Up! may be my favorites!

Anyways, hope you all enjoy your weekend!

Crazy for Cupcakes Class

Next weekend I'm teaching a fun class using the Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set. Here is what we're making:

I've packed a ton of fun techniques into these cards and can't wait to show everyone how easy these really are!

My friend Kristen and I have been trying to put this class together for almost an entire year! Isn't it weird how time flies by so quickly!

We will be making 2 of each of these designs for a total of 10 cards...

And, everyone who comes also gets to take the stamp set home with them as well!

This is one of my favorite stamp sets for birthday cards... I hope everyone else likes it, too! :)

Thanks for peeking at my cards for this class! Hope you are having a fantastic day!

Handmade Fabric Flowers

I love the textures fabric can bring to our crafts- especially when it's ripped or ruffled! Here are a couple of examples of quick, fabric flowers I made recently...
